The problem is volume, not craft
One ghost mannequin image is straightforward. A thousand of them, consistent across categories and seasons, is an operations problem — and it is where catalogues fall behind, because every new style waits on studio capacity.
Generating in bulk with auto-configure moves the constraint from studio time to source assets.
Consistency is the hard part
Brand guidelines are set up once, from a PDF, a website or your own rules, and every generation is checked against them automatically. A reusable library of approved models, backgrounds, styling and colours means the thousandth image matches the first.
That matters most on marketplaces, where inconsistent imagery is a common cause of listing rejection.
Beyond the ghost shot
The same source files produce flats, on-model imagery, PDP infographics and correctly sized advertising assets, so a single set of inputs covers the whole product page rather than one image on it.
